Becoming a Character for Halloween

I figure if you go to all the trouble of finding a really great costume for Halloween, why no go all the way and really BE that character? That's why I think it's a waste of time buying to cheesy costumes from the party places or superstores. You don't have to spend a wad if you're willing to add good accessories to a basic costume. But any Halloween masquerade effort deserves more than a half-baked presentation. Get into it! Do some research and really understand what drives the person behind the costume. Then be that. I guess it's just as important to get a costume that you can relate to. Otherwise, just cut two holes in a sheet and be the same dang ghost you were in second grade. Take it as a challenge to be more than a sack this Halloween. Be a character!

Group Costumes Can Be A Pain!

Ever try putting a group of people into matching costumes? Wow, what a headache! Makes you appreciate the professionals who work on those costume-heavy movies, doesn't it?

Actually, it doesn't have to be like that. With a little bit of planning, costumes for groups can be a lot of fun. Especially if everyone gets into character and decides to really rock out for the event.
